Laguna Among Ideal Provincial Areas For Regus Expansion
Office workspace provider Regus Philippines is looking to expand their services to other areas of the country and Laguna is one of their top choices. Other areas being taken into consideration are Cavite, Batangas, Subic, Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, Naga, Zamboanga, General Santos City, Davao and Cagayan de Oro. According to Regus Philippines Country Manager Lars Wittig, there has been a dramatic demand for workspace outside of Metro Manila that doesn't seem to be going away any time soon. "We can add value. We have to make sure we have a network that is not only tight, but it’s also about getting outside Metro Manila. We have identified 12 second-tier cities," said Mr. Wittig. Regus opened 10 new business centers in 2015, including the PBComm Tower in Makati, Gateway Cubao, the Marco Polo Hotel in Pasig, and their first in Clark, Pampanga among others. It currently has 22 locations in the Philippines with nearly 5,000 work stations.
Regus was founded in 1989 by Mark Dixon in Brussels, Belgium. In 2005, they expanded to several countries in Asia, North America and Europe.
